Sign Up Process
Registering is really simple and takes about two or three minutes. You can register through any one of several existing accounts, including Google and Facebook, or register directly using your email address.
If you choose the latter, you need to verify your email address, and everybody needs to fill in at least some basic information for their profile before they can go live on the site. Photos are optional, so you can leave this out of your personal profile, but you need to state your reason for joining, and what sort of topic areas you are interested in.
Without selecting any topics, you won't get any recommendations for groups or events, so this is crucial to getting any meaningful value from your membership.
